We take privacy seriously
1. Privacy when using the Aquapic website:
We do not require you to register with personal information before using the website
This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Aquapic collects personal information. It applies to information we collect about:
When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We will not associate any data gathered from this website with any personally identifying information from any source.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. In common with most websites, this site uses a statistics package and web analytic service to help analyse how users make use of the site e.g. to help us know which pages are popular. The analytics package on this site is provided by Google, Inc. and uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored on their servers. They use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on activity for us, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on their behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by themselves.
The way that cookies are handled by your computer will depend on how you have configured your browser settings. You are not obliged to accept cookies, and you can set your browser not to accept cookies (though this may affect the functionality of certain other websites that require cookies), and in some cases it may be possible to opt-out from Google Analytics by using an add-on tool provided by Google. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
2. Privacy in supplying your details:
If you proceed to engage the services of Aquapic we may obtain necessary personal details such as your name, address, e-mail and telephone number. These details are stored by Aquapic and only shared with our business partners when necessary to carry out work on your behalf e.g. to allow a contractor to contact you directly during a project; or to allow delivery of items directly to site.
We may use the personal information we collect about you to notify you from time to time about important new services or changes to our services or special offers we think you'll find of interest but we will do this only where you have consented, and you may unsubscribe from receiving these communications at any time by notifying us.
We shall never supply your details to third parties for e.g. marketing purposes, without your consent. Should the rights of Aquapic ever be sold on to another company, your information would be transferred with these obligations to you still in place.
3. Your projects:
We may take photographs/screen-grabs of completed features for our portfolio. If you would prefer us not to do this please let us know.
4. Other websites:
We have no control over other websites that we may have linked to, or how they might obtain information from you.
